Terms of use
Effective 29 September 2026
These terms apply to BlueCurrent, dive-centre operating software run by DNS Diving (“we”, “us”), at beta.bluecurrentapp.com. By using BlueCurrent you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how personal information is handled.
The service
BlueCurrent helps dive centres manage bookings, trips, crew, customers, forms, payments and accounting. It is under active development: features may change, be added or be withdrawn, and some are available only in test form.
Accounts
- Staff accounts are created by a dive centre’s owner, who decides each person’s role and access.
- Keep your password private and tell the dive centre’s owner, or us, if you think your account is misused.
- We may suspend access that puts the service, its data or other users at risk.
Acceptable use
Do not use BlueCurrent to:
- access data or dive centres you are not authorised to see, or try to get around its security;
- upload anything unlawful, harmful or that you have no right to share;
- disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the service, except where the law allows it.
Dive centres and their data
Each dive centre is responsible for the information it records, for its dealings with its own customers, and for having the right to collect and use that information. The dive centre’s data remains its own. BlueCurrent does not provide diving, medical, legal or tax advice: safety decisions, fitness to dive and accounting treatment remain the responsibility of the dive centre and its professionals.
Payments and connected services
Card payments are processed by CyberSource, and a dive centre may connect Intuit QuickBooks Online and an email provider. Those services are provided under their own terms. A dive centre can disconnect a connected service at any time; connecting one authorises BlueCurrent to use it only as described in our privacy policy.
Availability and liability
We work to keep BlueCurrent available and accurate, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control, and nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending use
You or your dive centre may stop using BlueCurrent at any time. A dive centre leaving the service can ask for an export of its data before its account is closed.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will show the new effective date above; continuing to use BlueCurrent after a change means you accept it. Questions: info@dnsdiving.com.
